Sustainability: Our Responsibility

Being environmentally sustainable means making choices that protect and preserve our planet's resources for future generations. This involves reducing waste, conserving energy, using renewable resources, and minimizing our carbon footprint. By adopting practices such as recycling, supporting eco-friendly products, and promoting biodiversity, we can help mitigate climate change and protect ecosystems. Every small action contributes to a healthier planet, fostering a harmonious relationship between humanity and nature. Embracing environmental sustainability is essential for ensuring a viable future for all living beings.

How to Compost:

To compost at home, cut each item into smaller pieces, and add them to your compost bin as “brown” materials. They will fully break down within 90-120 days in a home composting environment - sometimes even sooner! For optimal composting results, aim for a ratio of 1:3 of greens to browns. Read more about getting your mix right in this article.

These can also be sent to composting facilities to be properly broken down and composted.

  • If you are in Australia, find a commercial composter near you here.

  • You can also ask your local council if they can provide a composting green bin for you.

How To Recycle:

All of our cardboard and paper packaging should be fit to go in your curb side recycling bin. As for any of the packaging on each individual product should be checked for how to dispose of it properly.
